- TITLE: Headaches following Brain Injury and Stroke
- PRESENTER: Dr. Alvin Ip, PGY3 Resident, UBC Physical Medicine & Rehab
- Objectives (At the end of this presentation, you will be able to:)
- Define and classify various types of headaches following brain injury and stroke
- Quote the prevalence of acute and persistent post-traumatic and post-stroke headaches
- Identify the primary headache phenotype that these secondary headaches may resemble
- Manage and treat headaches following brain injury and stroke with knowledge from up-to-date guidelines
- Learn about the new CGRP inhibitors approved by Health Canada in 2018 for prevention of migraine
- This session qualifies for 1 credit towards the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons MOC Program
