- TITLE: "Recovery from complex concussion in adolescents: Does somatization play a role?”
- PRESENTER: Katie Green, Master's student, Experimental Medicine Program UBC, Department of Psychiatry\
- Objectives: At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- To understand recovery trajectories and complex concussion in adolescents
- To understand somatization in adolescents, its risks, and treatment strategies
- To consider how somatization may impact recovery after concussion in adolescents, and recognize characteristics common to adolescents with complex concussion affected by somatization
- This session qualifies for 1 credit towards the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons MOC Program
